Leyn Baan Street runs through the old Dutch quarter of the Fort. Number 10 opens into a walled courtyard: brick laid in herringbone, a colonnade of timber arches, a balcony above it.
Sit outside under the tree, or inside where the fans turn and the walls hold the cool.
